That being said, many professionals and students are facing difficulties in their attempt to become involved in technology. HackRx was designed to make this process more feasible. By hosting a yearly hackathon, many students from a variety of disciplines including pharmacy, technology, and other healthcare professionals - will have the opportunity to directly participate in the technological shift of the pharmacy field.

FUTURE GOALS

HackRx aims to provide many pharmacy professionals and students with diverse backgrounds the opportunity to develop their knowledge in the digital health field. On a local, provincial and national level, students are exposed to opportunities through HackRx to form professional networks and establish meaningful connections. With branches in the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto, the Technology in Pharmacy Network is primed to expand and explore this developing sector in the pharmacy world.
